The Of Dice and Dens Podcast will be running their 4th annual Tabletop Gaming Meowrathon on June 23rd - 25th to help raise money for their local Cage-Free, No-Kill Cat Shelter, Simply Cats.

Simply Cats is a 100% donation funded non profit that focuses on rescuing cats and finding them the perfect home by matching adopters to the best feline-ality that suits them and their home.

Simply Cats also relies on volunteers, both to help in the facility and also to act as out of facility fosters for those not ready for adoption.

Fosters are needed for many reasons. Sometimes a cat is in need of socialization. Other times they may need a safe place to have their babies. They may also be babies who no longer have a mama and need more involved care, such as bottle feeding.

Whatever the reason, Simply Cats provides these fosters with everything they need to succeed, but of course that isn’t free!

Conceived at the start of the pandemic, when in-person fundraising was not an option, the Meowrathon is a three day online stream of oneshots for various gaming systems with players from all over the globe. Over the last three years the Meowrathon has raised over $5,000.

In the past we’ve been joined by big names, including Star Trek’s Todd Stashwick and the Venture Brothers’ James Urbaniak.

This year we will be joined by Author, Comedian, and Actress Riley Silverman for her third year with us, as well as Meowrathon neophyte, Cosplayer, Actor, and Creator Jesse Jerdak.
